Interesting weekend.

Primary event was Jag's party on Saturday. I was still recovering from a bout of something nasty that's been going around work, so I was a little more zombielike that I would've liked. Still, it was great fun! Got to meet and see again some really nice people, found a new show to watch (yay Invader Zim! More organs means more human!), and just generally relaxed and chilled. Quote of the party: "Maybe jusht a li'l...*urp* *splosh*" Kitfox is beyond a saint for his handling of that little, er, outburst, and the one who outbursted it.

I still am outraged that Jag didn't like my combination of Bombay Sapphire and Blue Curacao ;) It'll put hair on your chest! Er, wait, maybe that was the problem ;P I'll grant that it's a rather strong drink, but hey, at least Aureth liked it too :)

I'm confused about my apartment now. The heat returned on Sunday, apparently, but in stealth mode. The radiator pipes are stone cold, but it got up to 85 in there! I've yet to figure that one out :P I'm pretty sure it was not just due to radiating fennec body heat! Oh well, I bet Snark likes it, at least :)

This week, two things to do. Clean more in preparation for parental arrival (namely, the bedroom), and get the framework for artshow working completely.

Something good: Cats that can't resist batting a ball around.

Something bad: Stupid chain email warnings about things that aren't even remotely true, with about 50 lines of email addresses in the headers.

Something disturbing: The fact that I seemingly have to watch Meet the Feebles whenever it's played. It's like rubbernecking at a car wreck, or something.

Current Mood: thoughtful

Hey, at least that stuff cleared my sinuses. ;P Strong is an understatement. Damn.

I should've mentioned that the less I can taste the alcohol, the better. ;)

Heehee, I kinda' figured that part out after you tasted it ;)

I'll owe ya' a Kamikaze next time I see you :) My personal favorite of no-taste-the-ethanol drinks. That was Akako's first post-21 drink, and she seemed to like it pretty okay!
