Call me a Joad..
..cause I'm off to California again.

Flying out Sunday afternoon, and returning home next Thursday. As usual, it'll be a pretty busy trip, but workload-permitting, I should be able to sneak off for dinner one night if any of the San Jose-ish locals are around. I'm thinking Tuesday or Wednesday are the more likely culprits.

Also, I need a vacation. Seriously...I have to find a way to use 16 vacation days between now and December. Maybe I'll just take December off :P

I need a vacay too! I have enough vacation leave to add up to about 14 days off. on top of that I have a seperate bank of sick leave to add up an additional 21 days and I only took one day of sick leave in my current work career too.

I still get to hang on to my work hours for a while and I'm looking to use up 9 days of that in January for my own trip to San Jose.

Phoenix?
If you happen to do west or southwest, nice to have you visit Phoenix, AZ you could head to Las Vegas one of the days or some such. I have space if you need it.

Re: Phoenix?
Unfortunately, business-trip-wise, I'm pretty much alternating between Texas and the bay area of California. However, the offer is very much appreciated, and enveri and I are planning a trip around New Mexico and Arizona sometime when we can both get time off...may try to visit if you're still around there then? :)

Okay! I'll try to nail down something definitive...as always, no obligation, I know mid-week isn't always the best time to visit with out-of-town visitors ;)

Gimme a heads up on the NM trip so I can get free of Ute lake. Just found out I am permenantly there again so without warning I will be out of town.

I can understand the vacation thing. I am up to 180 hours again.

As for using your time. Dont forget I;ll be staying extra after MFF this year. =)

I think I may try to take the whole Thanksgiving week off :) Looking forward to having you about!

I suggest taking Fridays off for the rest of the year!

San Jose, eh… a wee bit too far for ol’ ’77 Dodge and I in San Diego, hehe. I like food.

Does Baxter have a research plant in the SJ area?
Brendan: Hideyroho on September 13th, 2007 03:20 am (UTC)
Dunno if Baxter does, but the company I'm with has several in the area ;)

You're not with them anymore? You're still on Earth, yes?

Nah, spend December in snowy Florida. You might even be attacked by a Tigger. ;)

You're always welcome to come visit Connecticut! FurFright comes up in October...

Of course, you could just start taking random days off, and get local relaxations done. "Hmmm. I think Thursday for *this* week."

Also, TMBG are touring, maybe near you! Take a day off, go see 'em. :D

I dunno how you manage to hang onto days off for so long. I'm struggling to save any so I can have time off over Christmas, I've needed a lot of days off throughout the year :)
