Well, I almost never do these, but what the hey :P

1. What vehicle do you drive?
Dark green 1997 Saab 900 SE Turbo hatchback 2.0L 5-speed manual. Now there's a mouthful ;)

2. How long have you had it?
June 2001.

3. What is the coolest feature on your vehicle?
Well, having a turbo is nice; it's good to have a car with a small engine and great gas mileage, which can still push you back in your seat when it wants to. But the winner has to be the dash computer. On long trips (I've had the car to Maine and back several times), you program it with how many miles Mapquest says you're going. Then, throughout the trip, it'll tell you how many miles are left, how fast you're going on average, and what time you'll arrive. It's been eerily accurate so far.
(feren might argue that the coolest feature of the dash computer is the 'Black Panel' button, which turns off and darkens all gauges except the speedo, and any gauges that are trying to inform you of something critical.)

4. What is the most annoying thing about your vehicle?
Getting it repaired. While it's only had 3 non-routine repairs done on it in the 30,000 miles I've had it, getting them done can be a chore. There are three kinds of auto shops out there. There's Saab dealerships, which will happily and competently fix your car, charging you a small fortune in the process. There's small shops owned by enthusiasts, which will fix your car with equal competency, but for far less money. And there's the other 99% of shops out there, which absolutely won't touch a Saab. They have their reasons for this...the last time I took a Saab to Jiffy Lube (first mistake), they drained the transmission and left the radiator cap off.

Needless to say, the enthusiast shops are the most desireable, and the hardest to find. I still haven't found one near where I live now...the three I've patronized were in the disparate locations of Perrysville Indiana, Albany New York, and Portland Maine.

5. If money were no object, what vehicle would you be driving right now?
Well, I'm pretty content with what I have now. But if I were to be given a 'freebie' play vehicle, it would probably be a refurbed DeLorean from delorean.com, with the rebuilt-and-improved original engine, original stainless body, and nice sound system. What can I say, I like quirky cars :)

Something good: Servicemen on shore leave winning $150 million lotteries.

Something bad: The feeling after eating biscuits and gravy.

That's not disturbing, it's just pathetic.
