You sure we can't convince you to move back up north? ;)

Because, you know, it's so much better down south:

Yep, that's all ice. I watched one neighbor try to make it up the hill this morning - he got about a third of the way before he started slipping and spinning. On the bright side it'll be in the 40's and 50's by the end of the week so this will all be a slushy memory by then...

At least up north we seem to have a better handle on the situation. I understand a few inches of snow down South will cause the entire state to shut down.

That's fun, except with all the other cars to bump into.

"Snow Commute 2" together with the photo makes me think of a new eXtreme game. "Get home safely in the worst kind of weather, surrounded by neurotic drivers who should have lost their licenses years ago! It's Snow Commute 2! Extreme Commuting!"

Yip! Looks like fun!

This morning I had a milimeter of ice cocooning my car. 10 min to get the door open.

Then I had to drive in it!

On the way acorss the worksite it was still frozen.

On the way back across it I sank halfway to my knees in mud and we damn near got the Track hoe stuck. (It thawed)

Back to Ice gain tomorrow morning! And of course they scheduled me to be across town at 7:30 am. Ice Driving! WHEEEEEEEE!!!!
