So, anyways...I'm feeling pretty geeky here. I'm actually writing this from the passenger seat of Genet's Protege...We've got quite the little command center here! Laptop, with a GPS and the DeLorme Street Atlas software is guiding our way (we're currently on Rt. 30 in Indiana, at 41 degrees 27 minutes north by 87 degrees 2 minutes west). My Nokia 3650 is dialed into the internet, and is acting as a modem for the laptop via bluetooth. And all is well ;)
We're on the backroads, cause we told DeLorme 'No tolls!'. We'll see how this works on the trip out, and decide if we want to use similar for the route back. We're on a state highway, so it's been 65 most of the way, but the occasional traffic light is annoying :P
Check this space or enveri's for updates from the road!
Something good: Getting a $60 power inverter for $40, cause someone at Circuit City forgot to remove the sale tag
Something bad: Fast food that takes 10 minutes to arrive
Something disturbing: Writing a journal entry at 65 mph!
